I have always had a fascination with the sea and beach treasures. As a child, I could walk up and down the beach for hours with my head facing down in the hope of finding something unique. A beautiful shell, stellet or a rare fossil. So this Seashell Ring is a celebration of all the unique and beautiful sea treasures. Shells have a protective base in which negativity finds hard to come through. It is said that seashells have gentle healing energy.
The Underwater Collection is inspired by the mockumentary “Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable,” that chronicles the fictional story behind Damien Hirst’s exhibition in Venice. The jewellery originates from what is hidden beneath the water surface. The inspiration comes from underwater treasures and marine life such as shipwrecks, underwater ruins, beautiful coral reefs, strange marine animals, and perhaps even sunken treasures. However, it is not only the objects and elements themselves but also the erosion and new life that starts to evolve on all of these being kept underwater for a long time. Everything that is hidden below the surface of the water is a mystery and a source to create new pieces of art – a new fairy tale.

Standard pieces may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, provided they are unworn and in original packaging. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. How do i care for my jewellery? We highly recommend avoiding lotion, hairspray and other cosmetics to be in contact with your jewellery. Please do not wear your jewellery while sleeping and doing sports. Please remember to avoid exposing your jewellery to water, salt, chlorine and other chemicals. Please store your jewellery in a dry room or in a jewellery box. Rebecca Elbek jewellery boxes or pouches are an ideal way to protect and store your jewellery when not wearing. How to clean your jewellery: Soak your jewellery in lukewarm soap water for a few minutes before rubbing it gently with a soft toothbrush. This should remove any build-up dirt without being too abrasive or damaging to the texture of the gold. If in doubt you are always welcome to contact us.
