I spent a weekend in London together with my little workteam. We spend a day with our beloved friends Nell and Rasmus in their beautiful and playful London home all dressed in my jewelry, just before their baby’s due date, and now their little boy has arrived.
“I think it’s quite easy to live in a bubble in most places. However the urban planning of London means every area maintains some level of diversity, which is something truly unique to this city. It’s the thing that makes London so special to me. All walks of life, coexisting side by side. I love it!” – Nell
“All my adult life, my No1 ambition has been centred around work. Like this was the only area of my life where I would find the self-worth I was seeking. My biggest curiosity right now being motherhood, something so unknown to me and yet the most natural undertaking for a woman. Inspiration and respect coming from all the mothers who surround me, friends, family and of course my own mother. Becoming a parent was never a priory to me or never something that I entertained, until I met Rasmus. We were always meant to go on this adventure together, nothing has ever felt so right. As I write this, we only have a few days to go until we meet our son. I feel like I’m in a dream.” – Nell
“I’m Indian so I was born to love and cherish jewelry. Jewelry is often very symbolic to us because it gets passed down from generation to generation. I wear a bangle that my great-grandmother gave to my grandmother on her wedding day. All of which I’ll pass down to my own children. And then there is my wedding rings, most precious of all. Every piece has meaning” – Nell
“Truth be told, my knowledge of art is nowhere near as extensive as Rasmus. But artistic expression has always been a part of me, from art class at school to going on to study photography at collage and university also. Subsequently my career path has led me to a very different place but this hasn’t impacted my love and respect for art and all its many forms” – Nell
