One-off piece. Opal has always been associated with love and passion as well as desire. The name opal comes from the Sanskrit word Upala meaning precious stone. It is said that precious opal, with its display of fire, can spark creativity and that the “dance” of its fire can help people enjoy their lives.
The Underwater Collection is inspired by the mockumentary “Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable,” that chronicles the fictional story behind Damien Hirst’s exhibition in Venice. The jewellery originates from what is hidden beneath the water surface. The inspiration comes from underwater treasures and marine life such as shipwrecks, underwater ruins, beautiful coral reefs, strange marine animals, and perhaps even sunken treasures. However, it is not only the objects and elements themselves but also the erosion and new life that starts to evolve on all of these being kept underwater for a long time.
Everything that is hidden below the surface of the water is a mystery and a source to create new pieces of art – a new fairy tale.

Never clean opal or pearl jewelry in mechanical cleaning systems, such as ultrasonic, steam, or boiling water. Use only the methods recommended below. Most opal jewelry and pearls in earrings or other pieces without drill holes can be cleaned with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush, just like many other gemstone jewelry pieces. Make sure you use mild soap only (no other cleaning solution) and a soft brush (not a toothbrush).
